From the Stage:
Jason's mother's tales of SonRock Kids Camp
continue...the kids still aren't getting along,
and Head Counselor Praying Mantis has set the
campers a Riddle Walk challenge. Who will
finish first, the Butterflies or the Cougars?
And will Praying Mantis ever get the taste of
worms out of her mouth?

Send a Kid to Camp:
So many children never get the chance to
experience God's great outdoors! Camp Moss
Hollow, run by Family Services of Greater
Washington, has been offering such a chance to
at-risk children from Maryland, DC, and Virginia
for over 125 years. This year we hope to raise
enough to send TWO children to Camp Moss Hollow
for a week, and so far, we have raised $80.52
toward our goal of $1400. Won't you please
give? LET'S SEE MRS. UNANGST KISS A GORILLA!

Care of VBS T-Shirt: Turn t-shirt inside out
and wash in COOL water. Line dry. Do not bleach.
Do not iron directly on design.
-
Other Notes: The final assembly will be held
at 12:00 on Friday. Please come and allow your
child to share with you what they learned all week.
The VBS staff will need to make arrangements for
their children's care during this assembly so that
everyone can attend the program.
-
Help Needed: We are in need of a clean-up
crew to help us Friday after the program. Please
see Janet or Bitsy to sign up!
-
Reminder: Your child will participate in
recreational activities. PLEASE send your children
in SNEAKERS and apply SUNSCREEN each day!
-
Sunday Fun: In order to share with our
congregation the great things we've been doing
all week, we will be performing a number of our
VBS songs at both the 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
services this Sunday, 28 June. We hope you will
come worship with us! We would like as many
children as possible at both services: please
have your children wear their VBS shirts.
If you have any questions, then please contact Bitsy Unangst or Patsy Schumacher
(vbs@paxpres.org).
