Children
During the year, our Fellowship
Chair places a rose bud on the altar
from PW to celebrate the birth of
each new baby in the church. The
rose is then taken to the family.

Socials
Social events during the year are
held for the women of the church and
their guests. In the spring, we have
a salad supper with a speaker and/or
theme. This event coincides with
the Presbyterian Women's Birthday.
In December, we have our festive
Christmas dessert social. We
partake of holiday desserts and have
a Christmas tree ornament exchange.
In recent years, we have started an
annual Ladies' Tea. These are
always great evenings of fellowship.
We are always open to sponsoring new
fellowship events that are of
interest to the women of our church.
We would love to have your ideas!

Women of Faith
Every year we organize a trip to the
National Women of Faith Conference
in Washington D.C. The dates for the
next conference are July 12-13, 2008.
The trip includes the Friday evening
session, overnight accommodations
and Saturday's session. Chairs:

Retreat
PW sponsor retreats which are open
to all women of the church and
community. For several years, we had
full weekend Retreats. In the more
recent past, we have moved to a
one-day format locally which is more
conducive to most women. Chair:

Secret Sister
As a one-on-one fellowship
opportunity, PW sponsors a secret
sister program. This is a good way
to keep in touch with a friend, or
get to know someone new. We ask
that you pray for your secret sister
daily, send her cards and let her
"anonymously" know that you care.
Secret Sister pairs run for a year.
At the end of the year cycle, we
have a who's who party to meet each
