Our Philosophy

The preschool years are the most significant in the development of children. It represents a time when learning is swift and curiosity is at its peak.

The mission of Honey MacCallum Christian Preschool is to provide a safe, enjoyable Christian learning environment for young children.

We offer an opportunity to help children develop an awareness of the presence of God in their world: to present God as loving and forgiving and to introduce the church to preschoolers as a warm and inviting place where they can feel happy together.

In order for children to develop fully, they need to explore at their own pace in an atmosphere of security and love. Curiosity and wonder need to be stimulated to help build self-esteem. During this formative time, independence, creativity and thinking need to be encouraged within appropriate limits.

Above all, children with the help of caring, loving, trustworthy adults will come to know that God is loving, caring, and trustworthy.

Beginning October 1st we will start registration for the school year 2008/2009 for church members. You may pick-up a registration form in the church office. Registration fee for all programs is $65.00, non-refundable. The first month's tuition will be due by April 1st 2008 to hold your spot.

Programs Offered

  • A Mother's Morning Out program is also offered Monday through Friday. Children must be two years old and cannot be enrolled for more than two mornings per week. The program runs from 9:30-12:00 and costs $70 a month for one morning a week and $140 for two mornings a week.
  • A Tuesday/Thursday Morning program for three year olds is offered from 9:30-12:00 or 12:30-3:00. The cost is $150 a month.
  • A Monday/Wednesday/Friday program is offered for four year olds from 9:30-12 noon. The cost is $170 a month. Must be four years old by 9/1/08.
  • A Honey MacCallum Christian Preschool Monday-Friday morning program is offered for four year olds from 9:30-12 noon. The cost is $280 a month. Must be four by 9/1/08.
  • A Kindergarten program is offered Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 12 noon. Children five years old are eligible for this program. The cost is $400 per month.

The first week of October the Honey MacCallum Christian Preschool holds an annual Book Fair. We invite members to stop by to look the books over and purchase books for your children/grandchildren. We always have a great selection. Books always make great gifts.
