Handbell Choirs

The advanced handbell choir forms a three octave handbell and handchime group.

The advanced handbell choir will resume rehearsals Sunday, Sept. 14th from 4:30-5:30 p.m. For more information, contact the handbell director, Geoff Wysham handbelldirector@paxpres.org

The youth handbell group formed in September of 2007 with eight members. The group has performed several times during the Sunday School Year. We have also performed once at a small festival outside of church. Our logo was designed and drawn by one of our members, Ian Wysham after our group adopted our name, the Mission of the Patuxent Presbyterian Players, or MP3 for short.

The youth/beginner handbell choir resumed rehearsals Sunday, Sept. 7th from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The group is open to those in grades 4 through adults. The first half hour will center around the youth with adult ringers learning and helping alongside. The second half will center around the larger group playing more challenging pieces.
