• Summer Musical Offerings - We are looking for volunteers to present musical offerings throughout the summer, at either service. If you are interested in singing or playing a special piece, please contact Maureen Wysham at musicdirector@paxpres.org
  • Fisher House Donations - The Outreach/Missions Ministry is collecting donations to be given to the Fisher Houses at Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Hospital. We are collecting Visa gift cards to be given to the families for food, clothing, etc. If you’d like to donate cash or checks, we will purchase the gift cards. You can make your checks out to Patuxent Presbyterian Church and put "Fisher House" in the memo section or place cash in an envelope marked "Fisher House Donation" noted on the front. There will also be a patriotic basket in the Narthex where you can place your Visa gift cards - please fill in the value of the card. Questions contact Bonnie Clark.
  • Lunch with Langella - Yes that's right!  All youth 6th through 12th grade are invited to join Larry and Angella (hence the name Langella!) for lunch at 11:30 a.m. this Thursday July 3rd 2008 at Panera's. Then be sure to check the bulletin every week to see where the next lunch location will be!  So come on out and bring your lunch money because you will not want to miss this!  No R.S.V.P. required just meet us at Panera's and we will hang out and have lunch from 11:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.  See you there!
  • Women of Faith - This year's Women of Faith event entitled "Contagious Joy" is planned for July 11th - 12th at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. This is an event that you will not want to miss! It is a wonderful time of Christian fellowship, laughter, tears, and (of course) eating. Payment is required in order to reserve your seat. Tickets for the Friday evening and Saturday session are $68 (this includes your boxed lunch on Saturday). For an additional $50, there is an all day Friday intensive session featuring Patsy Clairmont, Anita Renfroe, and Jan Silvious. Carpooling from the church and hotel space is available if you are interested. There are registration forms on the table in the Narthex.
  • Vacation Bible School - SonWorld Adventure Park VBS was held this year from June 23rd - 27th. Please thank Bitsy and Janet for making this another year of wonderful experiences and fellowship! Visit the VBS pages to view some of the fun we shared.
